Biopsy of tongue diagram
Use this diagram to visualize when a biopsy of the tongue is coded with CPT code 41100 or 41105. Use 41100 if the sample is removed from the front two-thirds of the tongue, and 41105 if the sample is removed from the back one-third of the tongue.
